Alan talks vulnerability and being seen with queer contemporary clown, theatre-maker, director, costume-maker and general lover-of-all-things-silly Anna Thomson

 

While he navigates first date hopes and expectations with an unnamed (by request) woman he met in a workshop.

 

Alan also opens up about the time he nearly could have very possibly prematurely died but ended up having sex for the first time instead.

Anna studied with John Bolton (Lecoq-based training), Giovanni Fusetti, Thomas Pratki LISPA (UK), Deanna Fleysher, Clare Bartholomew (Die Rotten Punkte), Dell’Arte and others, and have toured around Australia with solo and group shows. Anna was in the US through the generosity of a Regional Arts Australia Fellowship 2023.

 

Anna runs clowning and devising workshops for all ages, and they work as a freelance creative, director & producer.
